Speciall Bail to the action afd      Whereupon a Certain Richard Hickman and Francis Wharton both
of Somerset County planters Came hereinto Court in their proper persons and undertook and
each of them undertook and assumed upon themselves (Likewise the Same Samuel Hall assumed
upon himselfe) that if in Case the said Isaiah Bredall shall recover Judgmt in the plea afd
against the said Samuel Hall or that the said Samuel Hall should be therein Convicted that
then he the said Samuel Hall shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his
body in Execution of Such Judgment to the prison of the Sheriff of Somerset County in Satisfaction
thereof or that they the said Richard Hickman and Francis Wharton or Either of them will do
the Same for him &a

          And whereupon the Same Samuel Hall by George Douglas his attorney his
cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &.a and the Same attorney Says that he is
not Informed by the same Samuel Hall his Clyant of any answer for the Same Samuel
to the aforesaid Isaiah in the plea afd to be given and nothing els thereof says by which the
same Isaiah remaineth against the afd samuel thereof undefended

                Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Isaiah Bredall
Recover against the afd Samuel Hall his debt afd and his damages by occasion of the
detention of that Same debt to Four hundred & Eleven                              pounds of
389   Tobacco to the Same Isaiah of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the afd deft
in mercy &a

His Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary of the province
of maryland Commanded the sheriff of Somerset County by his writt in these
words following viz.t                  Somerset County ss  Charles absolute Lord
and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a  To
the Sheriff of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that you attach any the goods
Chattles rights or Creditts of John Wilcox late of Somerset County planter
if they shall be found in your balywick to the Value of Fifty six shilings
and three pence Curr.t mony of Maryland six hundred and fifty pounds
of tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof the
same in your Custody safe keep so that you have the same before our Justices
of our County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing the third Tuesday of march
Next then and there to be Condemned According to act of Assembly to and
for the use of John Reddish) towards satisfying unto the said John Red^d^ish
Fifty six shillings and three pence Curr.t money and two hundred and
Ninety two pounds of tobacco which to the same John Reddish in our Court
