to the Corporall punishment aforesaid Command is given to the sheriff of Somerset County that he do
thereof Immediate Execution according to the Judgment afd Rendered by Whiping of the afd Mary
MaGuire at the publick whiping post with ten Lashes ^on the bare Back^ well Laid on untill the blood appear and
afterwards in the Same Court Came the said Sheriff and made Return that he had done the Execution
of the Judgment aforesaid as to the Corporall punishment afd he was Commanded &a

    Whereupon the said Mary MaGuire present herein Court in her proper person is ordered to
give Security for her appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be
held at dividing Creek in the Same County the third tuesday of June next to give such Evidence as
she shall know against John MaClester the father and begetter of the Bastard Child she stands Indicted
for but for want thereof the Said Mary McGuire is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriff of
Somerset County thereto remaine &a   Likewise the said Mary McGuire is ordered to give Security for
the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasions of the premisses afd but for want thereof
she is Committed into the Custody of the sher of Somerset County thereto remaine &.a  the said sher to witt
Joseph MaClester Gent present herein Court took Charge of the said Mary MaGuire accordingly &a

                                    The Jurors for the right honrble the Lord proprietary that now
is for the body of Somerset County afd upon their Oath do present that Betty Game
Late of Stepney parish in the County afd spinster the fifteenth day of November ann.o
Dom: seventeen hundred thirty and five at the parish afd in the County within the Jurisdiction of
this Court did Committ fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors afd unknown and did permitt the
same unknown person then and there to have Carnall knowledge of her body and to begett then and
there a bastard Child on the body of her the Same Betty to the high displeasure of almighty God
to the Evill Example of all Others in Such Case of Offending Contrary to the peace of the said Lord
Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the act of assembly in
such Case made and provided &.a
Test Dowty Collier            On the backside of the foregoeing Bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed
Vizt Billa Vera Sam.ll Wilson foreman

Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he should take the said Betty Game
if &a To answer &.a and afterwards to witt the sixteenth day of March anno Dom Seventeen hundred
and thirty five Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at
dividing Creek in the Same County Came the said Betty Game in her proper person and for as much
