Edward Rownd
       Guardian to
George Givans
Whereas at a Court held at dividing Creek for Somerset County on the Seventeenth
day of June anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty five a Certain
Isaac Handy of Somerset County Gent then and there present in the
    Same Court in his proper person undertook and became Security for Edward Rownd of
    Somerset County Gent Guardian then Chosen by a Certain George Givans an orphan &a

          Now here at this day to witt the Sixteenth day of march anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred
    and thirty five Came hereinto Court the Same Isaac Handy in his proper person and prays
    that he may be discharged from being Security for the afd Edw.d Rownd on the Guardianship afd &.a
    which is to him Granted &a
                                                    Thereupon the said Edward Rownd present herein Court in his
    proper person is ordered to Give new Security for ^to Comply with^ the Guardianship of the afd Geo Givans &a

       Whereupon the said Edward Rownd with James Givan of Somerset County planter
his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the afd George Givans in the Sum of One hundred pounds Sterling Each of
their bodys goods or Chattells Lands and tenements to be made and Levied to the Use of the
Said George Givans all his Estate both reall and parsonall that he Received into
his hands and possession peaceably and quietly when ever the Same shall be Legally required &a

Thomas Holbrook of Somerset County Gent present herein Court in his proper
person prays that he may have the Liberty to keep an ordinary or
House of Entertainment at his house at Wickacomoco in Somerset County
for the Ease and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and Strangers as to them respectively
shall Seem meet which is by the Court here granted him he giveing good security accordingly to act
of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a  whereupon the said Thomas Holbrook with
Joseph MccClester and Francis Porter of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court
in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble
the Lord prory of the province of Maryland in the Sum of five pounds Curr.t Money of
Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made
and Levied to the Use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors if it happen that the said
Thomas Holbrook do (& shall) not pay unto his said Lordship his heirs & Successors fifty Shillings
