Service the said John Tull present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same
Court in manner & form following that is to say that he the said John Tull during the term afd shall and will
Learn his said apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer & to read well in the bible and write & Cypher as far as the
rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude give him a new suit of Cloaths over and above
his Common wearing Cloaths and a Sett of Cordwainers tooles and Likewise provide for his said apprentice
meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for him to have & wear during the term afd &a

       Thereupon the said John Tull is ordered to give Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd
Whereupon the said John Tull with George Tull of Somerset County planter his Security both present herein
Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said Moses McColligan in ten pounds
Sterling Each of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements severally to be made and Levied to the Use
of the said Moses McColligan his heirs and assignes  If it happen that the said John Tull do not during the
term afd Learn his said apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to read well in the bible and to write & Cypher
as farr as the rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude ^do not^ give him a new Suit of Cloaths
over and above his Common Wearing Cloaths and a Sett of Cordwainers tooles and Likewise provided ^for^ of his said

Obadiah Cushaday an orphan and son of Owen Cushaday late of Somerset
County dec.d is by the Court here bound out an apprentice according to act of assembly
in such Case made and provided unto a Certain John Gillett unto he arrives at
                      the age of twenty One Years he being nine years of age &a the said Obadiah Cushaday
to serve his said master the full term afd during which term the said Obadiah Cushaday his said Master
well and faithfully shall Serve his secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every
where willingly he shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean himselfe
towards his said Master and all his during the term afd  In Consideration of which service the said John
Gillett present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in
manner and form following vizt that he the said John Gillett during the term afd shall and will learn
his said apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to read well in the Bible and to write and at the
expiration of his Servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths
and a sett of Cordwainers tooles and young Cow of about three years old and Likewise provide for
his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for him to have and wear during
