Forasmuch as a Certain John Carsey had not burnt tobacco according to act of
assembly in such Case made and provided but was willing to pay his fine
for the same &.a  Wherefore the same John Carsey is fined twenty Shillings

Forasmuch as a Certain Henry Dorman had not burnt tobacco according to act of
assembly in such Case made and provided but was willing to pay his fine for
the same &a wherefore the same Henry Dorman is fined twenty shillings ^Curr.t money^ for
and by Occasion of the premisses af.d &.a


Forasmuch as a Certain John Willey had not burnt Tobacco according to act of
assembly in such Case made and provided but was willing to pay his fine for the same
&.a  wherefore the same John Willey is fined twenty Shillings Curr.t money for and

County planter was attached to answer unto John White
of y.e point of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a
And Whereupon the same John White by Robert
Jenckins Henry his attorney complains that whereas the afores.d John
Lamberson after the first day of may Ann: Dom: One thousand Seven
hundred and thirty five (to witt) the thirteenth day of July Ann: Dom One
thousand Seven hundred thirty & two at Somerset County within the Jur
of this court made his certain note in writing called a promisory Note
with his own proper hand Subscribed bearing date the same day and year last
mentioned and that note to the same John White then and there did deliver
by which said note the same John Lamberson did promise to pay unto the
said John White or hs order fourteen hundred Cypruss boards five foot long
and of a good breadth for Value received at or by the twenty Seventh day
of October next ensueing after the date of the same note (as by the said
note here into Court brought may appear) and by reason thereof and also by
force of the Statute in such Case lately made and provided the same John
Lamberson became chargedble to pay to the same John White the aforesaid
fourteen hundred Cyprus Boards according to the tenor of the said note and so
being charged the aforesaid John Lamberson in Consideration thereof afterwards
