       November Court            1735         106

Warrent was Issued the following attachment against the goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of
the said William Jennings         viz.t

    Somerset ss   Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon
Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a  To ye Sher of Somerset County Greeting we
Command you y.t you Attach any of y.e Goods Chattles rights or
Creditts of William Jennings late of Somerset County Gent if they
shall be found in your bailywick to y.e Value of Nine hundred pounds
of tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof
the same in your Custody safe keep so that you the same before
our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to be held at
dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November next then & there
to be Condemned  According to act of assembly to and for y.e use
of a Certain John Lynch Unless the said William Jennings by
himself or his attorney shall appear & answer unto y.e s.d John
Lynch in a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a according to law
& that by good & lawfull men of your bailywick you make
known unto y.e person or persons in whose hands you make
y.e same attachment that he she or they be & appear before
our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to be held as af.d 
to shew Cause if any he she or they have why y.e same goods
Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in his her or their hands
ought not to be Condemned and Execution thereof had and made
(according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided) if
to him her or them it shall seem meet and how you shall Execute
this writt that you make known unto our s.d Justices at the day &
place af.d & have you then and there this Writt Wittness Robert King
Gent Chief Justice of our s.d Court the twenty second day of August
In the twenty first Year of our Dominion &.a  Ann Dom One
thousand Seven hundred and thirty five

       Att which said third Tuesday of November to witt the Eighteenth
day of the same month Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty five being the day of y.e return of the same writt came the
said John Lynch by Francis Allen his attorney and the Sheriff of
Somerset County to whome the foregoing writt was directed likewise
cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these
words Following Viz.t

By Vertue of the within writt to me directed to ye Justices within
mentioned I Certifie that of the Goods and Chattells of Wm Jennings
I have attached in y.e hands of Richard Hickman & Francis Wharton
& Benjamin Dirixen & George Howard to y.e Value of Nine hundred
