Andw Scott July: 1735 Then Came Day Scott and Andrew Scott and proved the above acco.t in Common form According to Law Sworn before me Jno Scott Somerset ss For as much as it is made appear to me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the peace within the County aforesaid by the above Named Day Scott and Andrew Scott that a Certain Jno Hendry above named is Justly Indebted unto him as appears by the above acco.t and that the said John is run away or removed in a secrett manner from his place of abode and has Carried or is about to Carry or remove his Effects or Substance to defraud his Creditors &a Therefore in pursuance of an act of assembly in such Case made and provided you are forthwith required to Issue an attachment according to the directions of the Same act against the goods Chattells rights or Creditts of the said John Hendry for the above acco.t proved and the Incident Costs and Charges and for your so doing this shall be your Sufficient Warrant and authority as wittness my hand and Seal this 18.th day of July ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty five To Thos Hayward Cl Somerset Coty This Jno Scott In pursuance to an act of assembly of this province now in force and in Obediance to the above said Warrt Issued An Attachment against the goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of the above said John Hendry the tenor whereof followeth in those words viz.t Somerset County ss Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a To the Sheriff of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that you attach any the goods Chattells Rights or Creditts of John Henry late of Somerset County pedlar if they shall be found in your bailywick to the value of three pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and six hundred pounds of tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof the Same in your Custody safe keep so that you have the Same before Our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to |
