Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due upon the Indictment afd and tryall in
Somerset County Court but for want thereof the Said John Callinan is Committed into the Custody of the sheriff
of said County thereto remain &.a the said Sheriff to witt Joseph MaClester Gent present herein Court took
Charge of the Said John Callinan accordingly   Afterwards Came herein Court a Certain Bruff
Broughton of Somerset County planter in his proper person and acknowledged himselfe
Indebted unto Joseph McClester high Sheriff of the County afd in three Thousand pounds of
good Sound Merchantable Leafe tob.o in Cask to be Levied of his body goods or Chattells Lands
or Tenements to the Use of the Said Joseph MccClester his heirs or assigns to be made and
Levied    if it Happen that the Said Bruff Broughton do and Shall not pay unto
the Said Joseph MccClester his heirs Executors administrators or assignes all Fee or Fees
that shall or has accrewed due to the Severall Officers on the Indictmt & tryall afd in
Somerset County Court &a

Goldsborough Gent attorney of the right honourable the
Lord proprietary that now is for the same Lord
proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth come hereinto
the County Court of the same Lord proprietary held for Somerset County
af.d to wit at dividing Creek in the same County the Eighteenth day of
March Ann: Dom: Seventeen hundred thirty and four before John Smith
Esqr and his Associates the said Lord Prop.ry his Justices of the same
County Court and for the same Lord prop.ry doth Give the ^same^ Justices here
to understand and be informed that a Certain Communication was had
between a Certain John White of Pocomoke in Coventry parish in Somerset
County af.d planter and John Britt of the same parish and County
planter of and Concerning the Loan of six pounds and fourteen shillings
current Money of Maryland to the same John Britt by the af.d
John White to be made and upon that Communication afterward to wit
the tenth day of June Ann: Dom: Seventeen hundred thirty & three
at the Parish af.d in the County af.d and within the Jurisdiction of this
Court it was corruptly contracted and agreed between the af.d John
White and the aforesaid John Britt that the aforesaid John White should Lend to the aforesaid Jno
Britt the aforesaid Six pounds and fourteen Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland in money numbred for
the Space of four months to witt from the aforesaid tenth day of June ann.o Dom One thousand Seven
