November Court
1735 (100) person according to a Certain recognizance by him and his Security before acknowledged and had a hearing of the Indictment af.d who thereupon says that of the trespass and assault af.d as by the Indictment aforesaid above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof &.a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered that the aforesaid John Hamond pay unto his Lordship the right honourable the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the trespass and assault af.d whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict two Shillings and Six pence Current money of Maryland and that the said John Hamond be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine af.d
planter the thirtieth day of October Ann: Dom: Seventeen hundred thirty and five at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain James Wetherly in the peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and there being with force and arms an assault did make and him the said James then and there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was greatly despaired and other harms to him then and there did beat the great damage of the same James and against the peace of the same Lord prop.ry that now is his good rule and Government &.a Test Isaac Handy, James Wetherly On the backside of the foregoing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Vizt Billa Vera Sam.l Willson Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he should take the said Jacob Crouch Jun.r if &.a to answer &.a and afterwards to witt the Eighteenth day of November Ann: Dom: One thousand Seven hundred & thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in and for the same County came the aforesaid Jacob Crouch in his proper person according to a Certain recognizance by him and his Security before Acknowledged & had a hearing of the Indictment af.d who thereupon says that of the trespass and assault af.d as by the Indictment af.d above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof &.a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully Understood It is Considered that the aforesaid Jacob Crouch Jun.r pay unto his Lordship the right honourable the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the trespass and assault af.d whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict two shillings and Six pence Current money of Maryland and that the said Jacob Crouch Jun.r be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesaid (Whereupon |
