98 Intituled an act for the releife of poor petitioners and your petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &a W.m Hopkins The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and the afd William Hopkins present here in Court presented unto the Court here ane Inventory of ^his^ Estate with a List of his Credittors and Likewise took the Second Oath appointed by act of assembly in Such Case provided and thereupon the Said William Hopkins is remanded Back into the Custody of the sher of Somerset County there to remain &a the said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent present here in Court took Charge of the Said William Hopkins accordingly &a
humbly Prays that your worships will please to give such order as in your wisdom you shall think fitt that your Petitioner may have the benefitt of the act of assembly Intituled an act for the releif of poor prisoners and your petitioner [as in duty bound] shall ever pray &a Philip Taylor The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and the aforesaid Philip Taylor present here in court presented unto the court here an Inventory of ^his^ Estate with a list of his credittors and Likewise took the second oath appointed by act of assembley in such case provided and thereupon the said Philip Taylor is remanded back into the custody of the sherriff of somerset county there to remain & the said sherriff to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent present herein court took charge of the said Philip Taylor accordingly &a Ordered by the Court here that Sarah Staples pay unto Mary Ingram Sixty pounds of tobacco being due unto her for her attendance two days ^as^ an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the said Sarah Staples she having made Oath to the Same &a Ordered by the Court here that Sarah Staples pay or Cause to be paid unto John Carr One hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco it being due unto him for his wifes attendance five days as an Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against the Said Sarah Staples she having made oath to the same &a Ordered by the Court here that John White pointate pay unto Ralph Milbourn One hundred and Eighty pounds of tobacco it being due unto him for his attendance Six days as an Evidence on behalfe of the said John White against the said John Britt he having made Oath to the Same &a Ordered that Charles Ramsey pay unto Jonathan Benston thirty pounds of tobacco for his wifes attendance one day as an Evidence on behalfe of the his Lordship against the said Charles Ramsey she having made Oath to the Same &a Ordered by the Court here that Charles Ramsey pay or Cause to be praid unto Sarah Lamberson thirty |
