His Lordship the right Honourable the Lord proprietary Commanded
the sherriffe of Somerset County by his writt in these words following vizt

Somerset ss  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the
provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &a   To
    the sherriffe of Somerset county greeting we command you that you attach any
    the goods chattles Rights or Creditts of Hugh Arbuthnot Late of london Merchant
    Deced if they shall be found in your bailywick to the Value of eighteen pounds Ninteen
    shillings and eleven pence Sterling money and one thousand pounds of tobacco
    And when you have the same attached or any part thereof the same in your
    Custody safe keep so that you have the same before Our Justices of Our county
    Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of August
    Next then and There to be condemned according to act of assembly to and
    for the use of a certain John Tunstall unless that Nathaniel Foche James
    Peirce and John Wood late of London merchants and administrators of all
    singular the goods and Chattles Rights or creditts of the aforesaid Hugh
    Arbuthnote deceased by himself or his attorney shall appear and answer
    unto the said John Tunstall in a plea of Trespass upon the case &a according
    to law and that by good and Lawfull men of your bailywick you make
    Known unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same
    Attachment that he she or they be and appear before our Justices of our
    of our County Court of ^Somerset^ to be held as aforesaid to shew cause if any he
    she or they have why the same goods chattles rights or creditts so attached
    in his her or their hands ought not to be condemned and Execution
    thereof had and made according to act of assembly in such case made
    and provided) if to him her or them it shall seem meet and how you
    shall execute this writt that you make known unto our said Justices
    at the day and place aforesaid and have you then and there this Writt
    Wittness Robert King Gentleman chief Justice of our said Court the
    Twenty fifth day of June  In the Nineteenth year of our Dominion &a
    Anno Dominie One thousand seven hundred and thirty Three

       Att which said third tuesday of August (to Witt) the twenty first day of the Same month anno Dom One
    thousand Seven hundred and thirty three being the day of the return of the said Writt Cometh the said John
    Tunstall by ^Robt Jenckins Henry^ his attorney attorney and the sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoing writt was directed
    Likewise Cometh and maketh Return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in those words following vizt

          By Vertue of the within Writt to me directed to the Justices of Somerset county court I
    Do certifie that on the fourteenth day of august one thousand seven hundred and
    Thirty three I did atteach of the goods and chattles of Hugh Arbuthnot in the hands
    of Andrew Thompson and for the use of Captin John Tunstall to the Value of
    Eighteen pounds Nineteen shillings and Eleven pence Sterling and one thousand
    pounds of Tobacco and before William Horsey and John Horsey good and Lawfull
    men of my Bailywick I made known to the aforesaid Andrew Thomson
    That he be and appear att the time and place appointed to shew Cause if any
    he she or they hath why Judgment may not pass as aforesaid to answer

       And the afd Andrew Thompson Gar as afd by Francis Allen his attorney Comes and prays Leave thereof
       to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given to the afd John Tunstall
       here also &a  
                               Att which said next Court to witt the Twentieth day of November Anno Dom
       One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came again as well the afd John Tunstall as the afd
