thousand seven hundred and thirty Three came again as Well the afd Johnson Hill
as the afd Philip Selby by their attorneys afd    and whereupon the same Philip prays
further leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same
Day is Given to the afd Johnson here also &a

thousand seven hundred and thirty three came again as well the afd Johnson Hill
as the afd Philip Selby by their attorneys afd   and whereupon the same Philip
prays further leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next court and he hath it and

thousand seven hundred and thirty three Came again as well the afd Johnson Hill as the
afd Philip Selby by their attorneys afd   and whereupon the same Philip as before defends the force
and Injury when &a and Saith that he is in no Sort Guilty of the premisses above alledged against
him ^and there^ of he putts himselfe upon the Country   and the plft in Like manner

       Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriffe of Somerset County that Immediately he should Cause to
Come here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now Sitting at dividing Creek in &
for the County afd twelve &a by whom &a and who neither &a to recognize &a because as well &a and afterwards
the County afd to this Impannelled being Called Came to witt William Handy, John Dennis Sen.r Joshua
Atkinson Robert Mitchell, John Webb Lazarus Maddox John Brittingham, John Lane Francis
Henderson, Francis Porter Abraham Smith and Giddion Tilman who to Say the truth of the premisses
afd being Ellected tried and Sworn upon their Oath did say that the afd Philip Selby is Guilty of
the trespass afd in manner and form as the afd John Hill above against him hath Complained and
did assess the damages of the Same Johnson by Occasion of the premisses afd beyond his Costs &
Charges by him about his Suit in that part apposed to three pounds ten shillings Currant money and
for those Costs and Charges to one pounds of tobacco

                      Therefore it is Considered that the afd Johnson Hill recover against the afd Philip Selby his
damages afd to the afd three pounds ten shillings Currant money and One pounds of tobacco by the Jurors
752   afd in form afd assessed as also Seven hundred & fifty Two                           pounds of tobacco to the
same Johnson at his request for his Costs and Charges afd by the Court here of Increase adjudged and
that the afd Philip be taken &a

Somerset County ss    John Purnall Late of Somerset County Gent was
summoned to answer unto Amos Woodward of a plea that he render
unto him one Negroe woman which from him he unjustly detaines
&a   And whereupon the same Amos by George Douglas his attorney say
    that whereas the afd Amos on the first day of June Ann.o Dom seventeen hundred and thirty
    two at Somerset County aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Court was possess'd of a
    Certain Negroe Woman of the price of thirty pounds Current money as of his proper Negroe &
    the same Amos being so thereof possessed afterwards viz the day and year aforesaid at
