The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood therefore it is Considered that the afd
Sarah Elzey be dischared for the future from paying of taxes for the aforesaid Negro Cawssey as
by the petition afd is praid &a

          Whereas a Certain Honour Haley being Convicted in this Court for bearing a molatto bastard Child
and according to an act of assembly in this province Now in force there is due from the said Honour
Haley to the Inhabitants of Somerset County for Such Inordinate Copulation Seven Years Service
and for as much as it did appear to the Court here that the said Honour was so Indisposed and
distempered with that distemper Called the pox and a pain in her Limbs that she mush Inevitably
perish without ^a^ Speedy remedy &a

          Whereupon the said Honour Haley is Sold by the Court here according to Law to Capn John Scott
for Seven Years the Said Seven Years Service to Commence from the first day of October Last the said
Honour to Serve the Said John Scott his heirs or assignes the full term of time afd &a

             In consideration of which service the Said John Scott is to Endeavour the
making a perfect Cure of the said Honour Haley of the distemper ^afd^ and Likewise pay to the
Use of the County aforesaid ten pounds of tobacco &a

    To the worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County in Court Sitting the humble
petition of John Dennis Jun.r Sheweth
                                     That whereas there is now a road through your petitioners plantation
    Lying down the River not being to the Conveniency of the publick but for the Service and use  
    of Some particular persons your petitioner therefore humbly prays that the said Road may be
    removed and that your petitioner may have his Just priviledge of his Land and your petitioner
    as in duty bound shall ever pray &a

             the petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation
    thereupon had   Whereupon it is Considered that the afd John Dennis turn the road afd to Landing
    Lying on the upper side of the plantation afd according to the direction of John Webb the overseer
    of the Same Road and if it Shall appear hereafter that the old road runing thro' the plantation
    afd was Setled by any former Order of Court that than the Same new road so to be turned as afd
    be by the said John Dennis made as good and passable as the afd old road &a
