Edward North
   bound arth to
Arthur Dashiell
Edward North son of Edward North Late of Somerset County dec.d of his own free
and Voluntary Consent is bound by the Court unto Arthur Dashiell untill he arrives
at the age of twenty One Years the said Edward North the Younger being fifteen
                Years of age the Sixteenth day of Aprill next the said Edward North the Younger to serve
his said Master the full term afd during which term the said Edward North the Younger his said Master
well and faithfully shall Serve his secretts keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willing
shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull Servant shall demeane himselfe towards him his said Master
and all his during the term afd &a

          In consideration of which Service the said Arthur Dashiell present here in Court in his proper
person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting on behalfe of the Said Edw.d
North that he the said Arthur Dashiell during the term afd will Learn his said apprentice arithmatick as far
as the rule of three Inclusive and the art of Navigation as farr as may be Sufficient to Navigate a
Vessell a Cross the Seas from One port to another    and at the Expiration of his Servitude give him a Gunter
scale a pair of dividers, a marriners Callender, a quadrant and a new Suit of Cloaths over &
above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing
Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for him to have and wear during the time of his Servitude afd &a

                Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the afd Arthur Dashiell Give Recognizance with
One Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd &a

          Thereupon the said Arthur Dashiell with Majr George Dashiell his Security both present here
in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto the said Edward North
the Younger in the Sum of fifty pounds Sterling of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements
Joyntly and Severally to the Use of the said Edward North his heirs or assignes to be made and
Levied if it happen that the aforesaid Arthur Dashiell do not during the term afd Learn his said
apprentice arithmatick as far as the rule of three Inclusive and the art of Navigation as

has an Interest in a tract of Land Called Amity Lying on Kings branch in Somerset
parish in the County of Somerset the bounds of which is Somthing uncertain for w.ch
       Reason your petitioner prays your worships to appoint Commissioners pursuant to an act of
