      James Shirley
 Command was Given to the Sher of Somerset County
that he should take James Shirley Gent one of the Attorneys of
Somerset County Court if he should be found in his Baliwick and him
    should safe keep so that he might have his Body before Justices of his Lordships County
    Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of August then Next
    to satisfye Robt Watson of four pounds in Cash and Eight pounds In Tob.o at Twelve shill.s
    and six pence p hundred and three hundred and thirty two pounds of tobo which to the same
    Robt in the same Court before the Justices thereof at Dividing Creek in the County afs.d were
    Adjudged for his Damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain Promise and Assumption
    to the same Rob.t by the afs.d James made and not performed whereof the same James is
    Convict &c.a
                            Att which said third Tuesday of August to Witt the Twenty first Day of
    the same Month Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty three being
    the day of the Return of the same Writt Came the afs.d Robt Watson by Francis Allen
    his attorney and the sher of Somerset County then being to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent
    at the same Day returned upon the writt afs.d that he by Virtue of the Same Writt to him
    directed took the Body of the afs.d James Shirley whose Body before his Lordships
    Justices at the day and place afs.d in the writt afs.d mentioned he had there ready &ca
    Thereupon the said James Shirley present here in Court at the prayer of the afs.d
    Rob.t Wattson by his Attorney afs.d is Committed into the Custody of the sher of Somst
    County there to Remain untill the said Robt of the Damages and Costs afs.d should
    be fully satisfyed &c.a the said sher to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent present here
    in Court took Charge of the said James Shirley accordingly &ca

do Confess Judgment to John Purnall for the Sum of Twenty four
pounds Eighteen shillings Curr mony and four hundred and Twenty
five pounds of Tob.o which sum was Recovered by the said John Purnall against
Benjamin Sharp on the Nineteenth day of June In the County Court the said
Twenty four pounds Eighteen Shills Curr mony and four hundred and Twenty
five pounds of Tob.o To be Levied of your Bodies Goods or Chattles Lands of
Tennements for the use of the said John Purnall in Case the said Benjn Sharp
shall not pay and satisfiye to the said John Purnall the said Twenty four pounds
Eighteen Shill.s Curr mony and four hundred and Twenty five pounds of Tob.o so
as aforesaid Recovered against him with the Additional Costs thereon on
The Tenth day of Febry next Taken before us this 21st day of August 1733   Jno Scott
