Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Sum of two pounds twelve shillings Curr money and five
hundred ^and fifty^ pounds of tobacco so as afd and Confessed be Condemned in the hands of the said Thomas Dashiell
as of the Rights and Creditts of the Said James Emra to the Use of the Said Thomas Bluett

    also it is Considered that the afd Thomas Bluett Recover against the said Thomas Dashiell Garr of
209   the Same James Emra Two hundred & Nine                           pounds of tobacco for his Costs
and Charges ^by him about his suit^ by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the afd deft in mercy &c

Planter was Attached to Answer unto John Purnell of a
plea of Trespass upon the Case
       And Whereupon the said John by Francis Allen his attorney Complains
       that whereas the said W.m the second day of May Anno Dom seventeen hundred
       and thirty two at the County of Somerset aforesaid within the Jurr of his Court
       was Indebted unto the said John in Eleven hundred Seventy four pounds of Tob.o as by
       a Certain note by the said William assigned and hereunto annexed bearing Date the
       day and year aforesaid may in Court appear and being so thereof Indebted the said
       William in Consideration thereof the day and year aforesaid at the County afs.d within
       the Jurr afs.d  Upon himself did assume and to the said John then and there did
       faithfully promise that he the said William the Said Eleven hundred Seventy four
       pounds of Tob.o to the said John when he should be thereunto Requested he
       would well and faithfully pay and Content  Nevertheless the said William his
       Promise and Assumption aforesaid in form aforesaid made Nothing Regarding
       but plotting and fraudulently Intending the said John in that part Craftily and Subtily
       to deceive and defraud the said Eleven hundred seventy four pounds of Tob.o to the
       said John altho the same to do the said William by the Said John on the afores.d
       second day of May in the year aforesaid and often afterwards at the County
       aforesaid within the Jurr aforesaid he was thereunto Requested hath not paid
       or Contented but the same to him hitherto to pay or Content hath refused and
       still doth refuse and Deny  Whereupon the said John saith he is worse and
       hath Damage to the Value of two thousand three hundred and forty Eight
       pounds of Tob.o and thereupon he brings suit &.c   Pr Que pledg prof   Jn.o Doe

       Whereupon the said W.m Robison being Called appears  And thereupon the said W.m
       Robinson at the prayer of the afs.d John Purnall by his Attorney afs.d is Adjudged to
       give Special Bail to the Action aforesaid thereupon a Certain Isaiah Quatermus
       of Somerset County planter present here in Court assumed upon himself and Undertook
       for the said W.m Robison that if in Case the said John Purnall should Recover
       Judgment in the plea afs.d against the said William Robison or that the said
