August Court    1733          (61)

Whereupon all and singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and
fully Understood  Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid
Mary Townsend pay to his Lordship the Right Honour.ble the Lord prop.ry (toward
the defraying of the County Charge) for her fine by the Court here upon her
Imposed by Occasion of the Premises afores.d whereof in form aforesaid she is
Convict thirty shillings Curr.t mony and that the aforesaid Mary be taken to
satisfye his said Lordship of the fine afs.d
                                                                Whereupon the said Mary Townsend
is ordered to Give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due
by Occasion of the premisses afs.d thereupon a Certain Edm.d Dickerson Jun.r of the
County afs.d Planter present here in Court undertakes for the said Mary Townsend for
to pay the severall officers fees due as afs.d &a
                                                                                     Whereupon it is ordered
by the Court here that Mary Townsend give security for her Appearance at Novemb.r
Court next to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of the Same Month to give
Evidence at Suit of his Lordship against Stephen Winright &a   Whereupon a Certain
John Townsend (son of Charles) of Somerset County Planter Present here in Court in his
Proper Person Undertakes for the said Mary Townsend and Acknowledged himself
Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of Ten pounds Sterl good
and Lawfull mony of England of his goods and Chattles Lands and Tennements
for the use of the said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied
if it happen that the afs.d Mary Townsend do not make her personal
Appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be
held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November Next and do not then and
thereof give such Evidence as she shall know against the afs.d Stephen Winright
at suit his Lordship and do depart the Same Court without Leave thereof then

three Comes into this Court before the Worshipfull Robt King Esqr and
his Associates Justices of the Same Court Rob.t Jenkins Henry Gen.t who
prosecutes for the Lord prop.ry and gives this Court to Understand and be Inform'd
that Honour Haley late of the said County spinster the Twenty second day of
             in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and thirty three
in the County afs.d and within the Jurrisdiction of this Court did Commit fornication
& then and there had born of her Body a Bastard Child to the High Displeasure
