    Afsd Robt Watson as the aforesd James Shirley by their Attorneys afsd  And thereupon
    the said James as before Defends the force and Injury when &.c and says that he did not
    assume upon himself in Manner and form as the afsd Robt Watson above against
    him hath Complained and of this he puts himself upon the Country
                                                                                                          Afterwards the
    same Attorney of the afsd James Relinquisheth his verefication afsd by him
    above alledged and the said Attorney says that he is not Informed by the same
    James his Clyant of any answer for the afsd James to the said Rob.t in the plea
    afsd to be given and Nothing Else thereof says by which the same Robt Remaineth
    against the afsd James thereof undefended &c.a   Wherefore the afsd Robt his
    Damages by Occasion of the Non prformance of the promise and assumption
    afsd against the same James ought to Recover &.a  And upon this at the
    prayer of the same Rob.t and by his assent the Justices here according to Act
    of Assembly in such Case made and provided assessed the Damages of the same
    Robt by Occasion of the Non prformance of the promise and assumption  
    afsd further then his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed
    to four pounds Cash and Eight pounds in tob.o at twelve shillings and six pence
    p hundred &c.a
                               Therefore it is Considered that the afsd Robt Wattson Recover
    against the afsd James Shirley his Damages afsd to the afsd four pounds Cash
    and Eight pounds in tob.o at twelve Shillings and six pence p hundred
    by the Justices afsd in form afsd assessed as also three hundred and tenn
310                  pounds of Tob.o for his Costs and Charges to the same Rob.t at
    his Request by the Court here adjudged and the aforesd James in Mercy &c

                               Memorandum That Rives Holt of
Lewis Town in the County of sussex upon Delaware Gent
    by Thomas Blewit his Attorney Comes here into Court the twenty first
    day of March in the said Term and Exhibits to the Justices here his Certain bill
    against James Shirly Gent.n one of the Attorneys of this court here prsent
    here in Court in his proper person of a plea of Debt the Tennor of
    which said bill follows in these words  To the Justices of the County
    Court of Somerset ss Rives Holt Gent by Tho.s Bluett his Attorney Complains
    of James Shirly one of the Attorneys of the said Court here present
    here in Court in his proper person Otherways Called James Shirly of the
    County of Sussex upon Delaware Merch.t for that he the said James
    Unjustly Detaineth and doth not Render to the said Rives seventy two
    pounds good and Lawfull mony of the Countys of Newcastle Kent (and)
