pse  Donnock Dennis
     Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he should take Donnock

Dennis Late of Somerset County planter if he should be found in his bailywick and him
                          should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his ^Lordships^ County Court of
Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of March then next to answer unto Robert Bolton
of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a  and that thereof he should not fail &a

          And the said Robert Bolten by Francis Allen his attorney Complained against the said Donnock
Dennis in the plea afd as Followeth vizt

                                           Somerset County ss   Donnock Dennis late of Somerset County planter was
Attached to answer unto Robert Bolton of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a

                         And whereupon the said Robert by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines that whereas
the said Donnock the fourth day of February ann.o Dom Seventeen hundred and thirty two at the County
of Somerset aforesaid within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said Robert in three pds
two shillings and One penny Curr.t money of maryland for Sundrys properly Chargable in acco.t as by acct
thereof hereunto annexed and here in Court produced may appear and being so thereof Indebted the said
Donnock Dennis in Consideration thereof the day and year afd at the place afd upon himselfe did assume
and to the said Robert then and there did faithfully promise that he the said Donnock the afd three pounds
two shillings and One penny to the said Robert when he should be thereunto requested well and faithfully
he would pay and Content  Nevertheless the said Donnock his promise and assumption aforesaid
in form afd made nothing regarding butt plotting and fraudulently Intending the said Robert in that
part Craftilly and Subilly to deceive and defraud the said three pounds two shillings and One penny
to the said Robert altho' the same to do the said Donnock by the said Robert on the afd fourth
day of February in ye Year afd and Often afterwards at Somerset County afd he was thereunto requested
hath not Contented but the Same hitherto to him to pay or Content hath refused and still doth refuse &
deny to the damage of the said robert of Six pounds Curr.t money of maryland afd and thereupon he
brings Suit & pledges dep            Jno Doe   R Roe
