unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same attachment that he she
or they be and appear before our Justices of our County Court to be held as af.d to shew Cause
if any he she or they have why the same goods Chattles rights or Creditts so attached in
his her or their hands ought not to be Condemned and Execution thereof had and made
according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided if to him her or them it
shall seem meet and how you shall Execute this writt that you make known unto our
said Justices at the day and place af.d and have you then and there this writt    Wittness
Robert King Gent Chief Justice of our said Court the twenty seventh day of November
in the twentieth year of our dominion &.a Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and
thirty four                         Att which said third Tuesday of March to witt the Eighteenth
day of the same Month Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty four being the day
of the return of the said writt cometh the said John Dennis Jun.r by Francis Allen his
attorney and the sheriff of Somerset County to whom the foregoing writt was directed
likewise comes and makes return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words Viz.t
By vertue of the within writt to me directed to the Justices within mentioned I certifie
that on the thirteenth day of January I did attach of the goods Chattles rights and
Creditts of William Booth to the value ^of^ two thousand Eight hundred and forty pounds
of tobacco for the use of John Dennis and I further Certifie that by John Doe & Rich.d Roe
Good and lawfull men of my bailywick that I made known to y.e said Wm Booth that
he be and appear at y.e time and place               so answers      Jos: Macclester sh

A Schedule of the goods of Wm Booths attached
and praised as follows
To 1 Yoke of Oxen @
To 2 young Cows @
To 1 old Cow @
To 1 Bull @
To 2 young stears @
To 2 young Hefers @
To 1 pott         @
To 1 pair of handmill stones @
To 1 Grinstone @
To 1 old bed and furniture @
To 1 horse @

And the afd William Booth altho' Solemnly Called Cometh not nor shews Cause why &a but makes default

    Whereupon the said John Dennis Jun.r by Francis Allen his attorney present here in Court prays
that upon giving security according to act of assembly in such Case provided the Severall Goods and
Chattells afd attached to the Value of two thousand Eight hundred and forty pounds of tobacco may
be Condemned as the proper goods and Chattells of the afd William Booth towards satisfying unto
the said John Dennis Jun.r his damages and all Costs and Charges accrewed by Occasion of the
attachment afd   Thereupon Francis Allen of Somerset County Gent present herein Court undertook
for the said John Dennis Junr that in Case the said William Booth according to act of assembly that
