Booth is Indebted to him two thousand

three hundred and thirty one and a half pounds of Tobacco and that the s.d Booth is Actually
runaway & is about to remove his Estate in order to defraud his Credittors these are therefore
to require you M.r Tho: Hayward Clk on sight hereof to make out attachment @ y.e s.d
Booths Estate for y.e afores.d quantity of two thousand three hundred & thirty one and a halfe pounds
of tobacco with the Incident Cost thereon and for your so doing this shall be your Warrant
given under my hand this 6.th day of Jan.ry Ann Dom 1734            Wm Lane

    Pursuant to an act of assembly in this province now in force and ^in^ obedience to the aboves.d
warrant was Issued the Following attachment against the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of
the af.d William Booth the tenour of which writt Followeth in these words Viz.t

Somerset ss  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord
Baron of Baltemore To the sher of Somerset County Greeting wee Command you that you
attach any of the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of William Booth late of Somerset
County planter if they shall be found in your bailywick to the value of two thousand Eight
hundred pounds of tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof the
same in your Custody safe keep so that you have the same before our Justices of our
County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March Next
then and there to be Condemned according to act of assembly to and for the use of a Certain
John Dennis Jun.r unless the said Wm Booth by himself or his attorney shall appear
and answer unto the said John Dennis Jun.r in a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a
according to law and that by good and lawfull men of your bailywick you make known
