25 Thereupon the said John Webb by Francis Allen his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c and prays Leave to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given to the afd Luke here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of June anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came againe as well the afd Luke Bowen as the afd John Webb by their attorney afd and thereupon the said John prays further leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court & he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Luke here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of august anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came againe as well the afd Luke Bowen as the afd John Webb by their attorneys afd and thereupon the said John prays further Leave ^thereof^ to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Luke here also &c Att which Said next Court to witt the Twenty first day of November anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Two Came again as well the aforesaid Luke Bowen as the aforesd John Webb by their Attorneys aforesaid and thereupon the said John prays further Leave ^thereof^ to Imparle here Untill nex Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the aforesd Luke here also &c.a Att which said next Court to witt the Twentyth day of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty two Came again as well the aforesd Luke Bowen as the aforesaid John Webb by their Attorneys aforesaid and thereupon the said John prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the aforesd Luke here also &ca Att which said next Court to witt the Nineteenth day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty three Came again as well the aforesaid Luke Bowen as the aforesd John Webb by their attorneys afsd and thereupon the said John as before Defends the force and Injury when &c.a and saith that he did not assume upon himself in Manner and form as the said Luke above against him hath Complained and of this he putts himself upon the Country &ca and the plf.t in like Manner Thereupon it was Commanded the sher of Somerset County that Imediatly he should Cause to Come here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now in Court Judicially Sitting at Dividing Creek Twelve &ca by whom &ca and who Neither &c.a to Recognize &c.a because as well &.ca And afterwards Imediatly Came thereof the Jurrors &c.a and the Jurrors of that same Jurry by Joshua Caldwell Gent sherr of the County afsd to this Impannelled being Called Came to Witt W.m Handy Michl Dasheroon John Webb Edwd Beacham Joshua Sturgis Hutton Hill John Johnson David Hudson W.m White David Hazard Thos Collins and Thos Peal who to say the Truth of and upon the premisses being Elected Tryed and sworn upon their oath did say that the aforesd John Webb did assume upon himself in Manner and form as the aforesd Luke Bowen above against (him |
