Company then present where they thought the mouth of the s.d Creek
was, but what answer was made he does not remember, but that
the s.d John Boseman himself said here is one Chop and there is an other
Chop Opposite to it on the other side and two Chops makes a mouth
and there ordered the Surveyor to begin his survey on a point of
Marish (which he believes to be some what washed away and which
the s.d M.r Boseman called the first Chop) bearing south Sixty two
degrees East to the house of M.r Randall Revell and South Sixty
Six degrees west to the house of M.rs Sarah Elzey which she now
dwells in, and that accordingly the Surveyor afs.d began there
and that he this deponant together within Henry Speir carried the
Chain and that the first Course went wide of the River but the
Exact Course he does not remember   This deponant further declares
that at the end of the first Course he heared M.r Levin Woolford
tell the s.d M.r John Boseman he was well Satisfied with the Coarse
hereon for it did him no damage this deponant further declareth
that as to the Gum and Hickory mentioned in Mess.rs William
George & John Bosemans depositions he knows nothing of them
Neither did he ever see them before this day nor did he hear y.e s.d
M.r John Boseman talk of them at y.e time y.e s.d Survey was but
since the said Survey he has heard severy persons say there were
such trees all which he declares to be Just and true to y.e best of
his rememberance and knowledge & further saith not
