puts himself upon the Countrey &^c   Whereupon the dispute in this action is ^by the Court & Consent of the parties afd^ referred to
James Martin William Lane and Edward Rownd all of Somerset County Gentlemen or any two of
them according to the form of the statute and they or any two of them to return their award to next Court
to be held for the County afd at dividing Creek and Judgm^t to be thereon as of this Court & the Same
day is given to the afd plantiff and defend.^t of honring thereof their Judgm.^t of and upon the premisses
afd &^a

       Att which said next Court to witt the ninteenth day of November ann^o Dom One thousand seven
hundred and thirty four Came againe as well the afd James Dickerson assignee as afd as the afd
Charles Ramsey by their attorneys afd also at the same day Came the afd James Martin W.^m
Land and Edward Rownd ^two of^ the Gentlemen mentioned in the aforesaid rule of referrence &
made return of their award in the premisses as followeth viz^t

Somerset County ss   Whereas we whose names are hereunto Written were appointed by the worshipfull
the Justices of Somerset County Court by the Consent of James Dickerson assignee of Nathaniel
Brittingham Plft and Charles Ramsey Defendant to determine all matters in
difference between them according to the form of the Statute in that case lately
made and provided and to make return of our award to the said Court do humbly
Certifie to the said Court that we have duely Examin'd the matter in difference
between the said partys and do award that the Plantiff pay all cost because we
find no Cause of Action given under our hands and seals this 23.^d day of

Therefore it is Considered that the af.^d James Dickerson assignee of the aforesaid
Nathaniel Brittingham take nothing by his writt and declaration af.^d but be
in mercy for his false Clamour and that the af.^d Charles Ramsey go thereof
without day &.^c   Also it is Considered that the afores.^d Charles Ramsey recover
621   against the af.^d James Dickerson assignee as af.^d Six hundred & Twenty One
pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his defence in that
part sustained to the same Charles by discretion of the Justices here adjudged
according to the form of the statute in that part made and provided and that
the same Charles have thereof Execution &^a
