1734 221 unto his Lordship of and Concerning what should be Objected against him on his said Lordships behalfe and do not depart the Same Court without Leave thereof and if he is not in the meane time of the good behaviour toward his said Lordship and all his good people and more Especially toward the said Mary Stilley &a
thirty three to serve your petitioner the term of three years and a half as will appear by the Indenture of the said Jonathan since which the said Jonathan Porter hath served your worships petitioner about one year and four months of the Indented time af.d after which the said Jonathan taking a distaste or dislike to something or another left his Service and your petitioner ever since the month of September last and is detained from his service by his brother Francis Porter not withstanding the said Jonathan was Ordered to his service againe by Cap.t John Scott one of your worships the premises Considered I humbly pray your worships to order the said Jonothan to return to his service againe as formerly and your petitioner as in duty ^bound^ shall ever pray &a John Meccuddy Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriffe of Somerset County that he ^should^ summons the afd Francis Porter if &a so that all Excuses set apart he ^might^ be and appear Immediately here in Court ^before the Justices thereof^ to answer the Petition afd &a afterwards to witt the ninteenth day of November one thousand seven hundred & thirty four Came hereinto Court before the Justices thereof the said Sheriffe and made return that he had Sumoned the said Francis Porter as afd he was Commanded &a Whereupon Came hereinto Court as well the afd Francis Porter as the afd Petitioner in their proper persons and the petition afd being read and the severall allegations as well on the part of the said Francis Porter as on the part of the petitioner and what ^the^ Severall Evidences delivered upon Oath in relation to the premisses all being heard and ^fully^ understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had and Likewise the Indenture by which the afd petitioner held the afd Jonathan Porter as an apprentice being Inspected by the same Court &a Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Francis Porter return the said Jonathan Porter to his sid Master and ^think he^ detaine him no longer from his Service and Likewise the Indenture by which the said John Mecuddy the petitioner holds the said Jonathan Porter as an apprentice is adjudged ^by the Court here to be^ good and that the said John Mecuddy Comply with the same Indenture as on his part ought to be Complyed with &a whereupon the said Francis Porter prays |
