(221) of the said Arthur Warwick but he the said Arthur Warwick Intirely delays the payment of the same to your petitioners great prejudice for since your Worships Judgment last Court the said Arthur Warwick thro spite took your petitioners Breeches away from him which caused your petitioner since he being free to runn himself in debt to gett Necessarys whereupon to Cover his nakedness Your petitioner beggs your worships will order the said Warwick to pay your petitioner his Freedom dues as the Law directs as also to return your petitioner his Breeches again and he as in duty bound will pray Tho.s Hopcraft Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately and without delay he Should sumons the Said Arthur Warwick if &.a so that all Execuses set apart he be and appear here in Court to answer the petition afd &a afterwards in the Same Court Came the said sheriff and made return that he had sumoned the said Arthur Warwick as afd he was Commanded Whereupon Came hereinto Court as well the afd Arthur Warwick as the afd Petitioner in their proper persons and the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and the severall allegations as well on the part of the petitioner as on the part of the said Arthur Warwick being thorowly and maturally deliberated &a It is Considered that the afd Arthur Warwick pay and deliver unto the said Tho.s Hopcraft all his fredom dues thats allowed to such servants according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a
security for his good behaviour and appearance at march Court next &a Whereupon the said Daniel Kinnigan with Aaron Lynn of Somerset County Gent his security both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in tenn pounds sterling Each of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors to be made and Levied If it happen that the said Daniel Kinnigan do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of march next and do not answer unto |
