acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed says that he would not contend with ^the^ proprietary but submitts with a protestation of his Inocency and putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court &a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being seen heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the afd William Kenney pay unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is Convict one hundred pounds of tobacco & that the same William Kenny be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd &a thereupon the said William Kenney is ordered to give Security for payment of the severall officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses afd but for want thereof the said William Kenny is Committed into the Custody of the sheriff of the County afd there to remaine &a
thirty four with force and arms at the parrish af.d in the County af.d within ye Jurisdiction of this Court the lid of one silver tankard of the value of three pounds Current money of Maryland of the goods and Chattles of M.rs Mary Hampton then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away Contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the act of assembly in such case lately made and provided &.era Test Mary Hampton Ruth Dickerson Jur Henry Schofeild On the backside of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was thus Indorsed viz.t Ignoramus P Thomas Humphrys foreman Whereupon came hereinto Court the said Mary Truman ^under^ in Custody of the sheriff of Somerset County into whose Custody ^before that time for the Causes afd^ she was Committed for the Cause afd and being by the said sheriff Led to the barr is Instantly discharged from Custodoy as afd and is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Means of the premisses afd Thereupon a Certain Ralph Milburn |
