197 and form as the af.d Edward Chambers above against him hath declared wherefore the s.d Edward pray's Judgm.t for his debt af.d and his damages sustained by occasion of the detaining of that same debt to him to be adjudged &.c Therefore it is Considered that the af.d Edward Chambers recover against the af.d Thomas Robinson his debt af.d and his damages by occasion of the detaining of the same debt to two 281 Hundred & Eighty One pounds of Tobacco to the same Edward of his assent by the Court here adjudged and the afores.d Thomas in Mercy &.c
thirty two at Somerset County afs.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court was possessed of one Bay Coloured horse of the price of ten pounds Cur money of Maryland as of his proper horse and so thereof being possessed the said horse out of his hands and possession casually Lost which said horse afterwards to witt on the second day of July afs.d in the year afs.d at Somerset County afs.d within the Jurisdiction afs.d to the hands and possession of the afs.d William by finding came Nevertheless the said William well knowing the horse afs.d to be the proper horse of him the said Benjamin and to him the said Benjamin of right to belong and appertain plotting and Fraudulently intending the s.d Benjamin of the horse afs.d to deceive and defraud tho' often thereunto requested the horse afs.d to the s.d Benjamin hath not rendred as yett but the horse afs.d afterwards to witt on the first day of August in the year afs.d at the County afs.d within the Jur afs.d to his own proper use did convert and dispose Whereupon he saith he is worse and hath damage to the value of twenty pounds Cur money of Maryland afs.d and thereupon he brings suit &c pledges &.c John Doe and Richard Roe And the afd William Gray by William Beckingham his attorney Comes and defends the force & Injury when &.c and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Benjamin herealso &.c Att which said next Court to witt the Ninteenth day of march Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred & thirty three Came again as well the afd Benjamin sharp as the afd William Gray by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said William Gray prays further Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the Same day is Given to the aforesaid Benjamin herealso &.c Att which said Next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of June Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty four Came again as well the afd Benjamin Sharp as the afd William Gray by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said William Gray prays further Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the afd Benjamin herealso &.c Att which said next Court to witt the twentieth day of August Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty four Came again as well the afd Benjamin sharp as the afd William Gray by their attorneys afd and whereupon the same William Gray as before defends the force and Injury when &a and |
