190 Thomas Larimore Jun.r if &a to answer &a and afterwards to witt the twentieth day of August Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty four before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here here held at dividing Creek in the same County came the said Thomas Laramore Junr in his proper person according to a Certain recognizance by him and his security in that part first acknowledged and had a hearing of the Indictment afd and Says that he is not Guilty thereof and of this he puts himselfe upon the Country and William Goldsborough Gent attorney of his Lordship and who for his said Lordship in that part followeth Likewise thereupon it is Commanded the sherriff of Somerset County that Immediately he should Cause to come here before the afd Justices twelve &a by whom &a and who neither &a to recognize &a because as well &a and afterwards Immediately Came thereof the Jury &a and the Jurors of that Same Jury by Joseph MccClester Gent sherriffe of the ^County^ afd to this Impannelled being Called came to witt Joshua Caldwell Robert Mitchell Jonathan Bounds John White pocomoke Ralph Milbourn Angello Atkinson, Jacob Adams Joseph Houston Philip Quinton John Atkinson Robert Jones and Robert Nevin who to say the truth of and upon the premisses afd being Elected tryed and sworn upon their Oath did say that the afd Thomas Larrimore Jun.r is Guilty of the premisses in the Indictment afd Specified in manner and form as by the Indictment afd above against him ^is^ Supposed &a Whereupon all and singular the premises by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It it is considered that the af.d Thomas Larrimore Jun.r pay unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court Hereupon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premises af.d whereof in form af.d he is Convict thirty shillings Currant money for the use of the County af.d and that the same Thomas Larrimore ^Jun.r^ be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine af.d &a Whereupon the said Thomas Larrimore Jun.r is ordered to give security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain John Larrimore of Somerset County planter present herein Court in his proper person undertook for the said Thomas Larrimore Junr and acknowledged himselfe Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of five pounds sterling to be levied of his body goods or Chattells Lands or tenements to the Use of the Officers (that hath any Fees due upon the Indictment by means of the premisses afd) to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said John Larrimore do not pay unto the Severall Officers their Fees due by means of the premisses afd upon the Indictment afd &a Likewise the said Thomas Larimore Jun.r is ordered by the Court here ^to give security^ for to save and keep harmless as well the Justices of Somerset County Court and their Successors for the time being as also the Inhabitants of the Same County from all Costs Charges and troubles by reason of the birth maintainance nourishing and bringing up of ^two^ bastard Child^ren^ Lately begott on the body of a Certain Alice Hopkins &a thereupon the said Thomas Larrimore Jun.r with John Larrimore of Somerset County planter ^his security^ both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord |
