    bound duty shall ^ever^ pray
                                                          the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature
deliberation thereupon had   Wherefore it is Considered that the afd William Pointer be discharged of &
from paying of taxes for the afd servant boy as by the petition afd is praid &a 


          Grace an Negro woman of Mr James Dashiell being ancient Infirm and past her labour upon application
made to this Court he is discharged from pay^ing^ of taxes for the afd negro woman for the future &a

To the worshipfull the Justices in Somerset County now sitting
the humble petition of Abraham Highway humbly sheweth that
your petitioner hath been lame of one of his legs of a long time
and now is both old and sickly so that he is searceable to get his
living therefore pray your worships compassion and defines to be not levey free for
time to come and your petitioner will pray

       the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood  wherefore it is Considered that the afd
Abraham Highway be tax free for the future as by the petition afd is praid &a


William Harvey

          To the worshipfull the Gentlemen of the County Court of somerset now sitting the humble
petition of William Harvy of somerset County sheweth that whereas your humble petitioner
hath for many years past through several natural Diseases Incident to his body been unable to
work as formerly therefore your humble petitioner humbly desireth that your worships would be pleased to Set
me tax free and your petitioner shall as in duty bound for ever pray

                the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood  Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices
here that the afd William Harvey be discharged from paying of taxes untill such time as he shall be able
to labour &a

    Nicholas Fountain overseer of the road from Absolom Fords halfe way of the road to tarr kill ridge and from
thence along the road of Back Creek side according to the directions of Coll Robert King Mr Thomas William and Mr
Thomas Dixon to Beach and pine ridge and from thence halfe way of the road to the mouth of the neck and from thence
along the main road to the Southermost and of the Long Causway between Coll Kings and back Creek wading place
and from the uper end of Mr Samuel Wilsons plantation till he Comes within three quarters of a mile of Stevenses
branch &a

maryland ss.t     To his Lordships Justices of somerset County in Court sitting the petition
of Tho.s Gilliss humbly sheweth that whereas your Petitioner is possesst of ^part of^ a tract of
Land called bedlam Green Containing one hundred and fifty acres and the bounders thereof
being made decay'd so that there is not one bounder standing your Petitioner therefore
prays your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in relation to the bounders thereof for
the perpetuateing the same and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray
