William Collins Liveth formerly Denum Olandmans Sen.r that he saw the said
Hickory ^a^ standing marked tree which stooped and William Landman this Deponant saith
told him that it was a Corner a tree of Furnices Land and shewed it to him first and sence
This Deponant saith that he lived with the said Landmans Widow and made a Crop and was
Often at the afores.d place it being near the af.d spring where he often drank and marked a
small Hickory saplin with his knife within three foot of the said Marked Hickory being a
Corner tree of the Land Called Amity and further saith not                        his

The Deposition of Gideon Tillman aged fifty Years or their abouts and this Deponant
being sworn on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God saith that he was present at a Resurvey
made by James Furnice Sen.r about thirty two years ago and on a tract of Land
Called Amity they began at a spanish oake being marked and allowed by all parties to
be the first bounder of a tract of Land Called Amity the tree stands on a point of Ground
between the main branch and and a little branch Called Raccon branch near the main
Road that Leads towards Monokin bridge and further saith not                        his

The Deposition of Richard Chambers aged forty six years or their abouts and
This Deponant being sworn on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God saith that his
Father told him that a spanish oake standing on a small point of Land between
The main branch and a small branch Called Raccoon branch being an Ancient
Marked tree was the first bounder of a tract of Land Called Amity and that he hath
heard and severall others say the same it being near the main Road that Leads
towards the head of Monokin and further saith not      Richard Chambers
Robert King aged forty four years or their abouts Deposeth on the holy Evangelist
of Almighty God that a spanish oak standing on a point between trading branch
and A small branch Calld Raccoon branch near the main Road that Leads to ye head
of Monoken was shewed this Deponant as a bounder of a tract of Land Called Amity and
also of Revells Land Called Double purchase and further this Deponant saith not
Wee the subscribers being duly Quallified as Appears by               RKing
Indorsement on a Commission to us Directed from somerset      1731
County Court and having Comply'd with all the Requsits therein Required by giving
due notice agreeable to act of Assembly do Certifie that these five Depositions to
wit two of Gideon Tillmans one of MOses Tillmans one of Richard Chambers and
Coll Rob.t Kings was all taken before us and signed by the Severall Deponants
