Solomon Hitch
appointed Guardian to
Solomon Price
 Solomon Hitch of Somerset County planter present here in Court in his
proper person is Appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a certain Solomon
Price an Orphan under the age of fourteen years the said Solomon Hitch
                         present Here in Court as af.d Accepted of the Guardian ship af.d  Whereupon it is Ordered
by the Court here that the said Solomon Hitch take the said Solomon Price orphan as af.d and
his Estate Real and personall into his Care and possession untill he arrives at full age for the
Chosing of his Guardian and Likewise that he give security for to Comply with the Guardian
ship af.d &a   Whereupon the said Solomon Hitch together with Isaac Handy and Michael
Dorman both of somerset County planters his Security's all present here in Court in their proper
persons acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto the said Solomon Price in the sum of
fifty pounds Sterling of their Several bodys goods and Chattles Lands and tenaments to the
Use of the said Solomon Price his heirs or Assgnes to be made and Levied If it Happen that
the said Solomon Hitch do not Comply with the Law in Relation to such Guardians as af.d
and do not deliver up unto the afs.d Solomon Price or his Guardian to be by him Chosen when
he shall arrive at full age to Chose to Chose the same all his Estate both Real and personall
that he shall have in his hands and possession peaceably and Quietly when ever the same
Shall be Legally required &a


Elgate Hitch appointed
Guardian to Rachell Price
      Elgate Hitch of Somerset County planter present here in Court in his proper
persons is appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a Certain Rachel Price an orphan
under the age of Fourteen Years the said Elgate Hitch present here in Court as afd accepted of the Guardianship
afd      Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the said Elgate Hitch take the Said Rachel Price
Orphan as afd and her Estate Reall and personall into his Care and possession untill he arrives at full age
for the Chosing of her guardian  and Likewise that he give Security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &a

       Whereupon the said Elgate Hitch together with Isaac Handy and Samuel Fluellen both of Somerset County
planters his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to be Indebted
unto the said Rachel Price in the Sum of forty pounds Sterling of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or
tenements to the use of the said Rachel Price her heirs or assignes to be made and Levied  If it happen
that the said Elgate Hitch do not Comply with the Law in relation to such Guardians as afd and do not
deliver up unto the afd Rachel Price or to her Guardian to be by her Chosen when she shall arrive at
full age to Chose the Same all her Estate personall that he shall have in his hands and possession
peaceably and quietly when ever the Same shall be Legally Required &a
