Harry a Negro boy of Martin Fenton is adjudged by the Court here to be of the age of ten Years
of age this Year &a

          To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County now in Court Sitting
    the Humble petition of Thomas Dashiell Sen.r humbly sheweth that your
petitioner having to Old negro women that are afflicted with paines in all
    their Limbs in so much that they are very Chargable to me Your petitioner Humbly begg your
worshipps to acquitt them from paying of Taxes and Your petitioner shall ever pray

       The petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood    Wherefore it is Considered
that the afd Thomas Dashiell be discharged from paying of Taxes for the afd Negroes to witt
Marando and Jenny for the future as by the petition afd is praid &a


Solomon Hitch
appointed Guardian to
Ann price
Solomon Hitch of Somerset County planter present here in Court in his
proper persons is appointed by the Court ^here^ as Guardian to a Certain Ann
Price an Orphan under the age of fourteen Years the said Solomon Hitch
                                       present herein Court as afd accepted of the Guardian ship afd   Whereupon it is
Ordered by the Court here that the Said Solomon Hitch take the Said Ann Price orphan as afd and
her Estate real and personall into his Care and possession untill she arrives at full age for the
Chosing of her guardian and Likewise that he Give Security for to Comply with the Guardian ship afd
&a
          Whereupon the said Solomon Hitch together with Isaac Handy and Michael Forman both
of Somerset County planters his Security's all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged
themselves to be Indebted unto the Said Ann Price in the Sum of fifty pounds
Sterling of their Severall ^bodys^ goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of the said Ann
Price her heirs or assignes to be made and Levied   If it Happen ^that the said^ Solomon Hitch do not
Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardians as afd and do not deliver up unto the afd
Ann Price or her Guardian to be by her Chosen when she shall arrive at full age to Chose the Same
all her Estate both Real and personall that he shall have in his hands and possession peaceably & ^quietly^
when Ever the Same Shall be Legally required &a
