And whereupon the said Hannah by Francis Allen her attorney Complaines that Whereas the said Burr the first
day of Janry Ann Dom seventeen hundred & thirty three four at the County of Somerset aforesd within
the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted Unto the said Hannah in forty Eight pounds fifteen Shillings &
one penny half penny Curr.t Money of Maryland for sundrys properly Chargeable in Acc.t as by Aco.t thereof
hereunto annexed may in Court appear and being so thereof Indebted the said Burr in Consideration
thereof the day & year aforesd at Somerset County aforesd upon himself Did assume and to the Said Hannah
then & there did faithfully promise that he the said Burr the aforesd forty Eight pounds fifteen shilling
& one penny half penny to the said Hannah when he should be afterwards thereunto requested he would
well & faithfully pay & Content  Nevertheless the said Burr his promise & assumption aforesd in forme
aforesd made Nothing regarding but plotting & fraudulently Intending the Said Hannah in that part
Craftilly & Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said Forty Eight pounds fifteen shillings & one penny half
penny to the said Hannah altho' the same to do the said Burr by the said Hannah on the aforesd first
Day of Janry in the Year aforesd & Often afterwards at Somerset County aforesd he was thereunto
requested hath not paid or Contented but the same to the said Hannah hitherto to pay hath
damage to the Value of Ninety pounds Curr.t Money of Maryland aforesd and thereupon she brings

To the Trouble of My house at Your Wifes Death & Funeral Charges in Cash
To Cash paid Mary Hoggins for Nursing your Child

Then Came M.rs Hannah Horsey before me the subscriber & made Oath upon the Holy Evengilist
of Almighty God that the above Acc.t is Just & true as it stands stated to the best of her

Whereupon the Said Burr Outerbridge in his own proper person Came hereinto Court and
thereupon the Said Burr Outerbridge at the prayer of the afd Hannah Horsey by her attorney
afd is adjudged to Give Special Bail to the Action afd  Thereupon a Certain Joshua Caldwell of
Somerset County Gent present herein Court in his Own proper person Undertakes for the said
Burr Outerbridge that if in Case the said Hannah Horsey should recover Judgement in the
plea afd against the Said Burr Outerbridge or that the said Burr Outerbridge should be therein
Convict that then he the said Burr Outerbridge should pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon
