159 Baltemore &a To the Sher of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that you attach any the Goods Chattles Rights or Creditts of Samuel Pickering Late of Somerset County Marriner if they shall be found in your bailywick to the Value of seven pounds Tenn shillings Curr.t Money & five hundred pounds of Tobacco and when you have the same attached or any part thereof the same in Your Custody safe keep so that you have the same before Our Justices of Our County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June Next then and there to be Condemned According to Act of Assembly To and for the Use of a Certain Dennis Hudson Unless the said Samuel Pickering by himself or his attorney Shall appear and answer unto the said Dennis Hudson in a plea of Trespass upon the Case &a According to Law and that by Good and Lawfull men of Your bailywick you Make known Unto the person or persons in whose hands you Make the same Attachment that he she or they be and appear before Our Justices of Our County Court to be held as afd to Shew Cause if any he she or they have why the Same Goods Chattles Rights or Creditts so attached In his her or their hands Ought not to be Condemned and Execution thereof had and made According to Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided if to him her or them which ^it^ shall seem Meet and how you Shall Execute this Writt that you Make known Unto Our Said Justices at the Day and place afd and have you then and there this Writt Wittness Robert King Gen Chief Justice of Our Said Court the third Day of Aprill In the Ninteenth Year of Our Dominion &a Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty four Att which said Third Tuesday of June to Witt the Eighteenth Day of the Same Month Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty four being the Day of the return of the said Writt Cometh the said Dennis Hudson in his Own proper person and the Sher of Somerset County to whom the foregoeing Writt was Directed Likewise Comes and Makes return thereof to the Court here Endorsed By Vertue of the Within Writt to me Directed to the Justices of Sumersett County Court I Do Certifie that on the fourth Day of June One thousand seven hundred and thirty four I Did Attach of the Goods and Chattles of the Within Named Samuel Peackering and for the Use of Dennis Hudson to the Value of Seven Pounds Ten Shillings Current Money of Maryland and five hundred pounds of Tobacco in the hands of Archabald M.ccNeall I Do further Certifie that that before John Doe and Richard Roe Good and Lawfull Men of My bailywick that he be and appear at the Time and place apointed so answer Jso Caldwell Sher Whereupon the said Archibald MccNeal Garnishee of the afd Samuel Pickering altho' Solemnly Called Comes not but makes default &a Thereupon the said Dennis Hudson present herein Court in his proper person prays that the Sum of Seven pounds ten shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and five hundred pounds of tobacco so as afd attached (unpon his giveing Security according to law) may be Condemned in the hands of the said Archibald Mackneal as ^of^ the rights and Creditts of the afd Samuel |
