have her body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third
tuesday of March then next to answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning her Committing of Fornication &a and
that thereof he should not fail &a

             Att which said next Court to witt the Ninteenth day of Nov anno Dom One thousand seven hundred
and thirty three Came William Goldsborough of Somerset County Gent who for his said Lordship in this part
followeth and the sherriffe of Somerset County to whom the Foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Came and
made return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words following vizt Cepi Corpus p Jo.a Caldwell sher

       Whereupon the Said sherriff to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent altho' Solemnly Called Brings not in the
body of the same Comfort Townsend according to the return of his writt afd &a

       Att which said next Court to witt the ninteenth day of June one thousand seven hundred and thirty
four Came the said Comfort Townsend by Francis Allen her attorney and saith that she Cannot Gainsay but
that she is Guilty of the premisses Contained in the Indictment afd in manner and form as by the Indictmt
afd above against her Supposed

          Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Comfort Townsend pay to his Lordship
the Lord proprietary for her fine by the Court hereupon her Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses
afd whereof in form afd she is Convict thirty shillings Currant money to the use of the County afd and that
the said Comfort Townsend be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd   whereupon she is ordered
to give security for the payment of the severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon
Joshua Caldwell of Somerset County Gent present herein Court in his proper person acknowledged
himselfe Indebted in five pounds Sterling to be Levied &a    In Case he doth not pay the
Severall Officers Fees due by means of the premisses afd &a

    John Sheldon appears according to his Recognizance for the good behaviour and forasmuch as nothing
appeared against him to Continue him bound the said John Sheldon and his Security is discharged from the
recognizance afd &a

 John Persons of Somerset County planter Came here into Court in his proper person and prays
that his appearance may be recorded to save himselfe and security ^from^ a Certain Recognizance
of Bail before Entered into for his appearance at this Court &a
       Whereupon the said John Persons appearance is recorded and he and his Security accordingly discharged
&a    thereupon the said John Persons is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers
fees due upon the premisses afd  whereupon a Certain James Smith of Somerset County planter present here
in Court in his properson person undertook for the same John Persons in five pounds Sterling to be Levied
&a    In Case he doth not pay the Severall Officers their Fees due by Means of the premisses afd &a
