to give New recognizance for her appearance before the Justices of his Lordship County Court of Somerset
to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August Next to give Evidence on behalfe of his
Lordship against Thomas Larrimore Jun.r of and Concerning his Committing of Fornication
with her &a    Whereupon the said Alice Hopkins acknowledged herselfe Indebted unto his
Lordship the Lord Proprietary in five pounds sterling good and Lawfull money of England
of her goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and
Successors to be made and Levied if it Happen that the afd Alice Hopkins do not make
her personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August Next and do not then and there
give Evidence on behalfe of his said Lordship against the afd Thomas Larrimore Jun.r of &
Concerning his Committing of Fornication with her the said Thos L Alice Hopkins and do not depart
without Leave of the said Court &a

Somerset County ss    The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord proprietary
that now is for the body of Somerset County upon their Oath do present that Comfort
Townsend Late of allhollows parish in the County afd widdow the tenth day of
                   August in the year of Our Lord God seventeen hundred and thirty three at the parish afd in the
County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Committ fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors
afd unknown and did permitt the Same unknown person then and there to have Carnall knowledge
of her body and to begett then and there a bastard Child on the body of the Same Comfort to the high
displeasure of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the act
of assembly in Such Case Lately made and provided &a

Test   Henry Jerman         On the back side of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was Endorsed
as followeth vizt   Billa Vera John Purnall Foreman

       Thereupon Command was given to the sher of Somerset County that he should take the said
Comfort Townsend if she should be found in his bailywick and her should Safe keep so that he might
