To the Worshipfull me Lords Justices of Somerset County in Court Sitting    the humble petition of
Joseph Bird aged almost Seventy four and have not Servants to work for me nor but one boy
at his Own Will and have an Impediment in my Leggs and feet that I am not able hardly to work for my
Living which I hope your Worships will take it into Consideration for my age to be tax free which your humble
petitioner shall in duty bound for ever pray being able to work

       The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had
Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the afd Joseph Bird be discharged for the future from
paying of taxes as by the petition afd is prayd &a


    Toby a negro boy of Thomas Wright is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of ten years this term &a

    Peter a negro boy belonging to Joseph Wailes is adjudged by the Court to be of age of twelve years
this term &a

    Att the prayer of William Planner of Somerset County he is discharged from paying of taxes for
a negro Called Hector was aged and Infirm &a


    Att the prayer of Tabitha Venables widdow of John Venables, she is discharged by the Court from
paying of Taxes for her Negro named Pompy he being very aged and Infirm &a

    Att the prayer of Samuel Wilson of Somerset County Gent he is discharged by the Court from paying
of Taxes for his Negro woman Named Moll for the future she being antient and Infirm &a

Att the prayer of WIlliam Gray Nanticoke in Somerset County he is discharged from paying of taxes
for his Negro woman Named Margarett for the future she being antient and Infirm &a

Jack a negro Boy of Aaron Tilmans is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Fourteen Years this
term &a

    that is very much disabled with panics in her Limbs humbly prays your worships will set her tax
