    Whereupon the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon
had wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that James Dashiell and Mitchell Dashiell of Somerset County
Gent putt the said Child Out to some person as will take Care of him and find him Such Necessarys as shall
be sufficient for such a Child shall to have and they to make their report at November Court next to be held
for Somerset County at dividing Creek at which time and place the afd petitioner is to make his appearance &a

William Givans son of James Givans dec.d an Orphan Came into Court in his proper
person and having arrived at full age for the Choseing of his Guardian prays that
he may be admitted to Chose a Certain Robert Givans Jun.r as his Guardian which is by the
Court Granted &a    Thereupon the said William Givans makes Choice of the afd Robt Givans Junr as his Guardian accordingly
Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that a Certain Benjamin Venables of Somerset County
who hath the Estate of the said William Givans both real and personall in his hands deliver the same unto the
afd Guardian and that he receive the same and further it is ordered by the Court here that the afd Rob.t
Givans Jun.r Give Security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &a

       Whereupon the said Robert Givans Jun.r with Richard Wallis and John Persons both of Somerset
County planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the said William Givans in One hundred pounds sterling good and Lawfull money of
their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied to
the Use of the Said William Givans his heirs or assignes   If it happen that the said Robert Givans Jun.r
do not Comply with the Law in relation to the Guardianship afd and do not deliver unto the afd William
Givans or his Guardian to be Chosen, if any, all his Estate real and personall that he shall have in his hands
and possion peaceably and quietly when Ever the Same shall be Legally required &a

Now Sitting the Petition of John MccClester Humbly Sheweth that
M.r Alexander Carlyle Late of Somerset County Deceased was Maryed
to Your petitioner Eldest Daughter by whom he had Issue Two Sons Adam
Carlyle & John Carlyle & Now my Eldest Daughter is also Deceased so that the Said Children
Viz.t Adam Carlyle and John Carlyle are left fatherless & Motherless & Your Petitioner
being Grand father to the Said Children humbly prays Your Worships to Order Your
petitioner to be Gardian to the said Adam Carlyle and John Carlyle & to Order their Estate
to be Delivered Unto your petitioner for the beneffit of Said Orphan Children Adam
Carlyle & John Carlyle and Your Petitioner as in Duty Bound Shall Ever pray

          The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had
