    he would well and faithfully pay and Content    Nevertheless the said Robert Townsend
    his promise and assumption aforesaid in form aforesaid made litle regarding but plotting
    and fraudulently Intending the same Adam in that part Craftilly and Subtilly to
    Deceive and Defraud he the said Robert Townsend the aforesaid sum of four pounds
    or Any part thereof to the said Adam hath not paid or him for the same in Any
    way Contented altho' the Said Robert Townsend the aforesaid sum of four pounds
    or Any part thereof to the said Adam hath not paid or him for the same in Any
    way Contented altho' the Said Robert Townsend afterwards (to Witt) the same Day and
    Year aforesaid at the County aforesaid and Within the Jurisdiction aforesaid by him
    the said Adam was thereunto requested but the said Robert Townsend the same to Do
    hath altogether Refused and Still Doth Refuse and Deny whereby the same Adam
    Saith he is ^the^ Worse and hath Damage to the Value of Eight pounds Current Money
    aforesaid and thereupon he brings suit &a                            Pledges &a John Doe

March ye 16.th 1733  Then Came M.r Adam Spence Junr before me the subscriber and proved the
    above account according to the form of the Act of Assembly
                                                                                        sworn before me   Jam.s Martin

             Att which said third Tuesday of March to Witt the Nineteenth Day of the same Month
    Ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty three being the Day of the return of the
    Said Writt Cometh the said Adam Spence Junr by his attorney afd and the sher of Somerset County
    to whom the foregoeing Writt Was Directed Likewise Cometh and Maketh Return thereof to
    the Court here Endorsed in these Words Following Vizt    Non est Inventus short note Left

                                           Whereupon the said Adam Spence Jun.r by his attorney afd prays that
       for as much as he has Complyed with the Law in order to an attachment he may haveing Judgm.t
    against the said Robert Townsend for his damages afd by way of attachment according to act of assembly
    &a    whereupon for that it seems to the Court here that the said Adam Spence has Complyed with
    the Law as alledged
                                        Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Adam Spence
    Jun.r Recover against the said Robert Townsend his damages by occasion of the premisses afd to the
    afd four pounds Curr.t money of maryland as also all Costs and Charges by the said plft Laid
    out and Expended about his suit by way of attachment against the goods Chattells rights or Creditts
