Course of Law Determined  Wittness our Trusty and well beloved Samuel Ogle Esqr
Lieutenant General and Chief Governer of our said Province of maryland this twenty
fifth  Day of March in the Nineteenth year of our Dominion &a  Annoq Dom 1734
                                           Sam: Ogle

    On the Backside of the foregoing Commission it was Endorsed as followeth vizt

Maryland ss.t   Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon
Lord Baron of Baltemore &a    To Richard Tilghman Mat: Tilghman Ward John
Rousby Benj.a Tasker ^and^ Philip Lee Esq.rs and To John Smith Balt hun.d William
Stoughton John Handy Ja.s Dashiell John Scott Ja.s Martin William Lane Thomas
Williams Henry Ballard David Willson of Somerset County Gent Greeting We Do hereby
Authorize and Impower you or Either of You to Administer the Several Oaths appointed
by Act of Assembly as also the Oath of Judge or Justice To John Hall John Rider
Michael Howard Geo: Plater & Edmond Jenings Esq.r Rob.t King Edward Round
Charles Rackliff Geo: Dashiell Tho.s Gillis Isaac Handy and Mitchell Dashiell
or ay of you haveing taken the said Oaths are hereby Impowered to administer
the same to the Justices and Commissioners Respectively as they are Nominated
in the within Commission and we Will that you and Every of you haveing taken
the said Oaths do severally subscribe the Test and Oath of Abjuration and for so
Doing this shall be your sufficient warrant and Authority hereof fail not
and when you have ^the^ same so Done you are to Certifie the same under your hands
and seals to us in our high Court of Chancery with all Convenient speed wittness
our Trustly and well beloved Samuel Ogle Esqr Lieutenant General and Chief
Governer of our said Province of Maryland This Twenty fifth Day of March
in the Nineteenth Day of Our Dominion &a Annoq Dom 1734

Which being read and heard the afd John Smith &a Gent pursuant to the dedimus to them directed
administred the Severall Oaths appointed by act of assembly to be taken to the Government with the
Oath of Justice to Robert King Edward Rownd, Charles Rackliffe Geo Dashiell Thomas Gillis Isaac Handy
and Mitchell Dashiell of the same County Gent who severally ^take the same &^ subscribe the Oath of abjuration and test
and take their places as followeth vizt   Afterwards the same Robt King Gent administred
the Same Oaths unto John Smith, W.m Stoughton John Handy ^Ja.s Dashiell^ John Scott James Martin W.m Lane
