116 On the backside of the foregoing bill ^of Indictment^ it was Endorsed vizt Billa vera Saml Wilson foreman thereupon Command was given to the sheriff of Somerset County that he should take the said Stephen Winwright if &a to answer &a and afterwards to witt the ninteenth day of March anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty three before the Justices of his Lordships the Lord proprietarys County Court of Somerset now held at dividing Creek in and for the County afd Came the afd Stephen Winwright in his proper person and being by the sheriff Led to the barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed says that of the premisses afd above upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof and is willing to pay his fine for the fact afd &a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Court that the Said Stephen Winwright pay to his Lordship the Lord proprietary thirty shillings Currant money (for the use of Somerset County afd) for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is Convict and that the same Stephen Winwright be taken to satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the said Stephen Winwright give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd thereupon a Certain Solomon Townsend of the County afd planter present herein Court in his proper person undertakes for the said Stephen Winwright to pay the severall fees due as afd &a Likewise the said Stephen Winwright is Ordered to give Security for to save and keep harmless as well the Justices of Somerset County Court and their successors for the time being as the Inhabitants of the said County from all Costs Charges and troubles by reason of the birth maintainance nourishing and bringing up of a bastard Child Lately begott by him the said Stephen Winwright of her the said Eliza Townsend &a Thereupon the said Stephen Winwright with Saul Townsend and Solomon Townsend his ^Securitys^ of Somerset County planters all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to be Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling Good and Lawfull money of England of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the Use of Somerset County to be made and Levied If it happen that the said Stephen Winwright do not from time to time and at all times hereafter acquitt discharge and Save harmless as well the Justices of Somerset County Court and their successors for the time being as also the Inhabitants of the Same County of and from all Costs Charges ^and^ troubles whatsoever for and by reason ^of the^ birth maintainance nourishing and bring up of the Child afd and from all suits troubles Charges and demands whatsoever touching or Concerning of the Same &a
