Somerset County ss                 Be it remembred that William Goldsborough Gent attorney
of the right honourable the Lord proprietary that now is who for the same Lord proprietary in this
part prosecuteth doth come hereinto the County ^Court^ of the same Lord proprietary for the County afd
to witt at dividing Creek in the County afd the twentieth day of November in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven
hundred and thirty and three before Robert King Esqr and his associates the said Lord proprietarys his Justices of the same
County Court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the same Justices here to understand and be Informed that
William Langsdale late of Stepney parish in the County afd planter the tenth day of November in the Year of
Our Lord God seventeen hundred & thirty three at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this
Court did Committ fornication with a Certain Margarett Causey and of her body then and there had Carnall Knowledge
and a bastard Child on the body of her the said Margarett then and there did begett to the high displeasure
of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all Others in Such Case Offending Contrary to the peace of the said Lord
Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the act of assembly in Such Case
lately made and provided &a  whereupon the same attorney of the said Lord proprietary for the same Lord
proprietary prayeth the advice of the Court here in the premisses and that due process of Law in this part
against the afd William Langsdale may be made to answer unto the said Lord proprietary of and upon
the premisses &a

                Thereupon Command was given to the Sherriffe of Somerset County that he Should take the said
William Langsdale if &a to answer &a and now afterwards to witt the ninteenth day of march One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty three before the Justices of his said Lordships County Court of Somerset here held at
dividing Creek in and for the County afd Came the afd William Langsdale in his proper person and being by
the Sheriff set to the barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses
afd says that of the premisses afd so as afd above upon him Imposed he is Gilty thereof and is willing to
pay his fine for the fact afd   whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here being seen heard
and fully understood   It is Considered by the Court here that the afd William Langsdale pay to his Lordship
the Lord proprietary (for the use of the County afd (thirty shillings Currant money for his fine by
Occasion of the premisses above upon him Imposed and that the same William Langsdale be taken to
satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd &a     whereupon It's ordered by the Court here that the said Will.m
Langsdale give Security for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses
afd   thereupon Elgate Hitch of Somerset County planter present herein Court undertakes for the said
W.m Langsdale for to pay the severall officers fees due as afd &a
