Alexander Price makes Choice of the said Elgate Hitch as his Guardian accordingly &.a Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that James Smith of Somerset County planter and father in Law to the afd Alexander Price deliver up unto the afd Elgate Hill all the Estate of the afd Alex.d Price both real and personall that he hath in his hands &.a and it is further Ordered that the afd Elgate give Security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &.a Thereupon the said Elgate Hitch together with Joseph Wailes and William Langsdale both of Somerset County planters his securitys present here in Court in their proper persons all severally acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said Alexander Price in manner and form following viz.t the said Elgate Hitch in fifty pounds sterling and the said Joseph Wailes and William Langsdale in twenty five pounds Sterling of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements of every of them to the use of the said Alex.d Price his heirs and assignes to be made and Levied if it happen that the said Elgate Hitch do not Comply with the Law in Relation to the Guardian ship afd and do not deliver up unto the afd Alex.d Price all his Estate real and personall that he shall have in his hands and possession peaceably and quietly whenever the same shall be Legally required &.a
aged person that I Can hereof at present that Can prove the same for which reason pray your worships to appoint Commissioners agreeable to act of assembly in that Case made and provided and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray Joseph Wailes The petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had Wherefore it is ^Considered^ by the Justices here that a Commission Issue to the afd Joseph Wailes as by the petition afd is praid and that John Gale, Day Scott, Mitchell Dashiell and Robert Dashiell all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a James Lindow and William Turpin son of William of Somerset County Gent are appointed Burners of tobacco in manocan Hundred ^in the said County^ according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a Francis Porter and Littleton Townsend of Somerset County Gent are appointed burners ^of tobo^ of Pocomoke hundred in the said County according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a John Dennis sen.r and Thomas Pointer of Somerset County Gent are appointed Burners of ^tobo in^ Boquetennorton hundred in the said County according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &.a |
