Somerset ss Att a Court of the Right Honrble Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a held for Somerset County at dividing Creek in the same County the third tuesday of March to witt the ninteenth day of the same month and in the Ninteenth Year of his said Lordships Dominion anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty three by his said Lordships Justices the peace in the same County to keep assigned of whom were present
Proclamation being made in Usual Form and the sheriff of Somerset County to witt Joshua Caldwell Gent made return of the pannell of the Grand Jurors as followeth viz.t Samuel Wilson Benjamin Holland William McClamey, Robert Watson, Joseph Wailes, W.m Aydelott Robert Collier Daniel Cordery James Polk Mitchell Dashiell, Daniel Sturges, Thomas Pullett Michael Disharoone Elgate Hitch, Robert Harris and John Webb whereupon Proclamation being made again in Usual form and the Jurors afd so as afd Impannelled being Severally Called Over by their Names did appear as above and there upon they Sworn and Charged and Sent Out to Consider &.a soon after the Grand Jurors afd being Impannelled sworn and Charged as afd return hereinto Court and being severally Called Over did appear and Return the Following Indictments against John Hopkins Jun.r, Eliz.a Fittne Rebecca Porter, Sarah Price, Sarah Christopher Eliz.a Harman and Lydia Schofeild thereupon the grand Jurors afd are discharged and Ordered that they be allowed five hundred pounds of tobacco for their publick service this Court and against the afd John Hopkins Eliza Fittne Rebecca Porter and Sarah Price, Sarah Christopher Eliz.a Harman and Lydia Schofeild so as afd Indicted it is ordered that Capias Issue against them Returnable to next Court &.a John McClester of Somerset County Gent being appointed in his Lordships Commission of the Peace for the County afd being present herein Court in his proper person took the Several Oaths appointed by act of assembly to be taken to the Government with the oath of Justice and Subscribed the Oath of Abjuration and made ^and^ Subscribed the test and took his place on the bench as above Ordered that a road be Cleared from Rickett's Road at Tusekey branch to Wood's road and that James Tully be Overseer of the same Road and that he have for the Clearing of the same New road his Own Labourers William Taylor, George Olliver James Jones and Robert McClair &.a Edward Kellum appointed Overseer of the Road in Nanticoke hundred in the stead of James Tulley &.a
