that whereas your petitioner is possessed with part of a tract of Land called Barbers Rest Containing three hundred
acres Lying in Somerset County on the north side of Cuttomaktico the bounds whereofore ^is^ decaying and the wittnesses
antient Your petitioner therefore Humbly prays Your worships to appoint Commissioners to Examine the
evidences to prove and perpetuate the bounds of the Said Land according to an act of assembly in Such Case made
and provided and Your petitioner as in duty bound Shall pray                                 Robert Hardy

                The petition aforesaid being Read and heard &c      Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that
a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Robert Hardy as by the petition aforesaid is praid and that Thomas
Humphrys, James Mackmorie, Capell King and Joseph Wailes all of Somerset County Gent.m be Commissioners
and Execute the Same Commission according to Law &c


                It's Ordered by the Court that the Sher of Somerset County to witt John Purnall Gentleman Return a pannell
of Grand Jurors Immediately to Enquire for the body of Saidrset County    whereupon the Sher of Somersett
County to witt John Purnall Gent makes Return of the pannell of Grand Jurors as followeth vizt  Nicholas
Fountain, James Rownd, Capell King, John Onorton, William Jones Francis Crowder Robert Givans Sen.r John Tull
Isaiah Bredall, James Lindow George Bozman Samuel Alexander Edward Beachamp, John Brittingham W.m
Bowler, Teague Riggin Benj.a Holland, George Benston Thomas Hollbrook Bruff Broughton, John Townsend
Isaac Coston whereupon proclamation being made in Common form and the Jurors afd so as afd Impannelled
and Severally Called Over by their Names do appear as above and were Sworn and Charged and Sent out
to Consider &.c soon after the Grand Jurors afd being Impannelled Sworn and Charged as afd return hereinto
Court and being Severally Called Over as afd do appear and being asked if they had made any bills of Indictments
or agreed on any presentments Return the following Indictments and presentments Indictment ag.t
Thomas Duncan and Eliz.a Chambers and presentments against Bridget Smith, Ann Heather, Mary Pointer
Southy Whittington and Rachel Waltom being Content that the Court Should amend form altering noe matter of
Substance in them and against the Severall persons so as afd Indicted and presented it is ordered that Capias
Issue Returnable here to next Court thereupon the Grand Jurors afd are discharged and ordered to be allowed
five hundred pounds of tobacco (subjected to a deduction) to be paid next Levy Court &c

                The petition afd being Read and heard and fully understood   wherefore it is Considered by the
    court here that a Commission Issue to the afd James Stevenson as by the petition afd is praid and that
James Martin, James Shirley, James Rownd and Edward Rownd all of Somerset County Gentlemen be Commissioners
and Execute the Same Commission according to Law &c
