1730 76 Successor if default be made in the Condition hereunder written The Condition of this Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Eliza Townsend do and Shall make her personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June next to answer unto his Lordship of and Concerning a Certain presentm.t against her found and do stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court thereon and do not depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof then the above Recognizance to be Void and of none Effect Otherwise to Stand and remain in full force & vertue in Law &c Richard Hickman Sen.r appointed Overseer of the Roads in Baltemore Hundred in the Stead of Geo: Howard for ye Ensuing Year &.c By Somerset County Court Novem 17.th ann.o 1730 Upon the petition of Michael Holland Jun.r for the turning of the Road &c The premisses Considered its ordered by the Court that the Said Michael Holland the Liberty of turning the Road as by the petition afd is praid he first making the Road as Good and passable as the old and that the Same be done according to the directions of Thomas Dixon and Thomas Williams Gent and that they make their Report to next Court &c porder Thos Hayward Clk Cur Com Somr by vertue of the Above Order we the Subscribers have vied ^wiewed^ the above mentioned Road and find it as Good as the Old which Your worships may be Safe in allowing and we Remain Your worship humble Servants Thomas Williams Thomas Dixon P.r I desire you to Sue the persons under Named for the Sumes to their Names Annexed and for that purpose I hereby appoint you my attorney both in fact and Law march ye 24.th 1730/1 I am Your humble Servant To Mr James Shirley attorney at Law Edward West (seal) Signed Sealed in delivered in ye presence of Adam Spence Sen.r Joshua Collings £3..5..11 John Murray Docter Geo: Willcox 4..4..0½ Ordered by the Court that Edward Adams pay or Cause to be paid unto Edmond Fitzgerrell two hundred and Seventy pounds of tobacco being due him for his attendance Nine days as an Evidence on behalfe of the Said Edward Adams against Abraham Ingram he having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that Edward Adams pay unto Edmond Fitzgarrall and Margarett his wife three hundred and thirty pounds of tobacco being due unto them for the attendance of the Said Margarett Elven days as an Evidence on behalfe of the Said Edward Adams against Abra: Ingram she having made oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court here that Abraham Ingram pay unto John Tatum one hundred and ninty pounds of tob.o being due unto him for his attendance as an Evidence ^six days^ on behalfe of the Said Abra: Ingram against the said Edward Adams he having made Oath to the same &c |
