John Murray
Whereas a Certain John Murray of Somerset County Hatter at a Court held at dividing Creeks in Somerset

county the [illegible] day of march one thousand seven hundred & twenty Nine became Security
                in the same Court in fifty pounds Sterling for a Certain Andrew Willson for his Good behaviour and appearance
at June Court then next to be held for the County afd at the place afd &c

       Att which Said June Court to witt            day of the Same month anno Dom one thousand seven hundred & thirty
being ye day of the appearance of the Said Andrew Willson at which same day the said Andrew altho' Solemnly called
Came not but makes default   but the Said John Murray Security afd prays the Court here that his Recognizance afd
may be Respitted untill next Court to be held for ye County afd which is Granted &.c  Thereupon the Recognizance
of the afd John is Respitted by the Court here untill the next Court &c

             Att which Said Next Court to witt the eighteenth day of August Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred & thirty
Came againe the Said John Murray and thereupon at the prayer of the afd John his Recognizance afd is
Respitted by the Court here untill the next Court &c

                Att which Said next Court to witt the Seventeenth day of november Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred &
thirty Came againe the Said John Murray and thereupon at the prayer of the afd John his Recognizance afd is by the Court
here respitted untill the next Court &c

                    Att which Said next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of march anno Dom one thousand seven hundred & thirty
the Said John Murray at the same day altho' Solemnly Called Comes not but Makes default &c

Eliza Townsend
We of the Grand Inquest for the body of Somerset County do present Robert Adkins Mariner
and Eliz.a Townsend widdow of Boquetennorton hundred in all hollows parish for
unlawfull Cohabitting together Abraham Smith Church warden in former
                                                                     Char: Rackliffe foreman
                      Thereupon Commanded was Given to the Sher of Somerset County that he Should take the Said
Robert Adkins and Eliz.a Townsend if &.c to answer &.c

                         And afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Robert Adkins and Eliz.a Townsend in their
proper persons and thereupon the Said Robert Adkins being by the Court here Instantly demanded how
he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses afd says that of the premisses afd says that he is Guilty thereof
and is willing to pay his fine for the fact afd &c

             Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Robert Adkins pay unto his Said Lordship
Six hundred pounds of tobacco for his fine for the fact afd and that the Said Robert Adkins be taken to
satisfie his Said Lordship of the fine afd &.c   whereupon the aforesaid Robert Adkins is ordered to Give
Security for the fine afd and the Severall fees due to the Officers by occasion of the premisses afd   but
for want thereof the Said Robert Adkins is Committed into the Custody of the Sher of Somerset County
thereto remain &.c thereupon the Said Sher to witt John Purnall Gent by John Dennis his deputy present
here in Court took Charge of the Said Robert Adkins accordingly &c

whereupon the Said Eliz.a Townsend is ordered to Give Security for her appearance at next Court to answer unto his
Lordship of and Concerning a Certain presentm.t against her found &c

                Thereupon the Said Eliz.a Townsend with John Scarbrough and William Turpin her Securitys all present herein
Court in their proper persons and acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Said
Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary that is to Say the Said Eliz.a Townsend in ten pounds Ster
and the Said John Scarbrough and Wm Turpin in five pounds ster each of their Goods and Chattells
Lands and tenements Sepetately to be made and Levied for the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and
