undertakes for the Said John Sneed that in Case he be nominated in the plea aforesaid or Otherwise Legally Cast
that then the Said John Sneed Shall pay the Condemnation of the Court and all Costs accrewing thereon to the
Said Donnock Dennis or that he the Said Levin Gale will do it for him thereupon ye Said Donnock Dennis by
Francis Allen his attorney appears & Imparles till next Court &c

 Somerset ss  Aaron Lynn late of Somerset County merchant was attached to
answer unto Walter Dollas of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c
And Whereupon the the same Walter by Levin Gale his attorney Complains that whereas
the aforesaid Aaron the seventeenth day of December Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty
Nine at somrset County within the Jur of this Court was Indebted unto the same Walter in the sum of
three thousand five hundred foot of Inch plank as for his Certain Note and so thereof being Indebted the
said Aaron  In Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the same day and year aforesaid at the County
aforesaid and within the aforesd Jur upon himself assumed and to the said Walter then and there
faithfully did Promise that when afterwards he Should be thereunto requested he the aforesaid sum
of three thousand five hundred foot of plank the same Walter would well and faithfully Content
and pay  Nevertheless the said Aaron his promise and assumption aforesaid in form aforesd made
Little regarding but Plotting and fraudulently Intending him the same Walter in that part Craftily
and Subtilly to defraud and Deceive he the said Aaron the aforesd sum of three thousand five hundred
foot of Inch Plank Nor any part thereof to the same Walter hath ^not^ Said or him for it in any wise
Contented altho the said Aaron afterwards to witt the same day and year aforesaid at the County afd
and within the aforesaid Jur was thereto requested by the same Walter but the said Aaron the same to doe
hath altogether refused and Still doth refuse whereby the same Walter says he is worse and hath
Damage to the Value of Seven thousand foot of Like plank and thereof beings this Suit &.c

                   And the aforesaid Aaron Lynn by Francis allen his attorney Comes and defends the force and
Injury when &.c and says that he Cannot Gainsay the action aforesaid of the aforesaid Walter nor bu
that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the aforesaid Walter above against him has
complained and as to the damage of the Same Walter by him by Occasion of the premisses in that
part Sustained the Same Aaron Saith and Confesseth that the aforesaid Aaron Sustained damage by
Occasion of the premisses beyond his costs and Charges by him about his Suit in that part apposed
to three thousand and five hundred foot of Inch plank and not more and because the aforesaid Walter
denyes not this but the Same allegation Confesseth to be true prays Judgm.t and those damages above
Confessed together with those Costs and Charges afd to him adjudged &c

       Therefore by Consent of the parties aforesaid it is Considered that the aforesaid Walter Dollas Recover
against the aforesaid Aaron Lynn his damages aforesaid to three thousand five hundred foot of
307   Inch plank by the Same Aaron in form aforesaid Confessed as also three hundred and Seven
pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges aforesaid to the Same Walter at his request by the Court here &
Consent of the parties afd adjudged which Certain damages in the whole do amount to three thousand and
five hundred foot of Inch plank and three hundred and Seven                        pounds of tobacco and the
aforesaid Aaron in mercy &c

to keep assigned) that Owen Owens Late of Somrset County Cordwainer is actually runn
away and has or is about to remove his Effects out of this County to deceive his Creditors you
are hereby required to Issue on attachment on behalfe of John Denis for the sum as in
