Baines orphan of the afd George Baines Continue under the Care & tuition of Ann Benston wife of the aforesaid
Alexander Benston) untill further orders &c

William Reynolds an Orphan ^now in custody of John Bishop^ is bound by Court untill he arrives to the ^age^ of twenty one years
Years to James Shirley ^of Somerset County Gent^ he being Six Years of age the Said apprentice to Serve his Said Master
faithfully and honestly every where during the term afd     during which term the said
Master undertakes to Learn his Said apprentice to Read and write and Likewise find and provide for him meat drink
washing Lodging and Cloathing and at the Expiration of his servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths &c

          Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the aforesaid James Shirley Give Security for to Comply with the
Covenants aforesaid   Whereupon the aforesaid James Shirley present herein Court acknowledged himselfe to owe
& stand Justly Indebted unto the afd William Reynolds in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling Good and Lawfull mony of
England of his Goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to be made and Levied for the use of the Said William
Reynolds his heirs and assigns if default be made in the Condition hereunder written

                               The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden James Shirley
do and Shall well and truely Learn his Said apprentice during his Servitude to read and write and Likewise
find and provide for his Said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for Such an apprentice
to have and wear and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a new Suit of Cloaths &c then the above
Recognizance to be void and of none Effect otherwise &c

                        To the worshipfull Justices of Somerset County in Court Judicially Sitting the petition of
Joy Hobbs of the Same County Humbly Sheweth that your Petitioner is possessed of three
       Tracts of Land in the County aforesaid called Abington Carneys Chance and white oake Swamp the bounders
whereof are decayed and the wittnesses to prove them Ancient and Infirm Your petitioner therefore
Humbly prays Your Worships will be pleased to Issue a Commission to Such persons as you Shall
think proper to Examine Wittnesses according to the form of the act of assembly in that Case made and
provided to perpetuate the boundarys thereof and your petitioner as in duty bound Shall ever pray

       The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon
had   Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd Joy Hobbs
as by the petion afd is praid and that George Dashiell Merrick Ellis, Thomas Walker and
Henry Ballard all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission
according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &c

Whereas there was an order made in August Court Last to David Willson, William Turpin Sen.r
John Waters, and Jeffry Long all of Somerset County Gent.m for the Laying Out a road down the Middle of ^the neck^
between Back Creek and Annamessex for for as much as they Could not agree about the Said Road in Laying
of in out &.c   Thereupon it is now ordered by the Court that Robert King, Thomas Williams and
Thomas Dixon of the County aforesaid Gent or any two of them mete at a Certain time by them the Said
Robert King, Thomas Williams & Thomas Dixon or any two of them to be appointed in the Said neck
and Inspect as well the Old Roads in the Said Neck as that part of the new Road Laid out by
